Cargo Pant???

Ok so I wasn't convinced about the Cargo pant being as comfy and easy to wear as denim. When you love your jeans as much as I do, you don't see past that..;-). You can dress up or dress down your fab pair of jeans and I couldn't see that with the cargo pant! But ladies...I went and tested it out. And low and behold, the magazines are telling the truth! You can wear a bootcut cargo pant with your super cute and stylish clogs or try the more tapered model that hits above the ankle for a flattering, slim fit. They looked amazing with a floral top, blazer and platform pumps. Or a T, leather jacket and scarf.
So believe me when I say they are super stylish and comfy! BTW..I tried a pair in olive and they looked great with everything!

Looking for your pair?? Target has 4 different colors and a fit for everyone!

Cold and rainy day= hat day!
Don't be afraid to throw on a hat. Hats are very chic and fun! It just depends how you spin it! I love hats, they are a big part of my wardrobe. Whether it's a fedora, slouchy knit, beanie, or a crocheted version of either one. Always let a little hair peek out of the front, that's gives a little bit of a seductive look..:). If you have longer hair, either pull it back onto a side ponytail with your fedora or let it hang with your slouchy knit. It's fun to rock a hat if your hair is a shorter bob length like mine. You can wear a lot of hats that will flatter your face and wrap a scarf around your neck for a warmer, finishing touch! Charlotte Russe and Forever 21 have a huge variety of hats to choose from and they are very affordable!
Let see you wearing those hats today ladies!!

Look in the Mirror before you step out!

What an amazing evening! I was a date to a friend who was invited to celebrate the 33rd year Oscar celebration and fundraiser for the Tennyson Childrens Center. It's an amazing cause, and Red carpet style. And I saw some really good and some really, really bad..;-)
I thought everyone looked in the mirror before they left the house at some point? What I am thinking is some of our mirrors are not telling the truth! I saw beautiful gowns in white and short LBD's with lace and quite a few of those women pulled it off. But there were the ones who just wanted so bad to be in the young and trendy now, that it didn't quite work out in their favor..:0)

Make sure you shop early when you have a very upscale party or fundraiser to attend! You want to make sure you try on all options for your body type. Style and color count!! Try a simple LBD with very dramatic accessories or the pizazz and sparkle in the dress with a simple bracelet and stud earrings. But no matter what you do, please look in the mirror before you leave and do a once over. Last minute additions, a super cute hand- sized clutch and the proper coat. And make sure you get that photo of yourself, these are moments to remember!

It's Saturday!!

How many of you wake up too early on Saturday morning because your little is ready for the day?! I know I'm pretty cranky when I do not get to sleep in on the weekend. But then it just kind of messes up your schedule for the day! Anyways, just because it's the weekend doesn't mean you don't have to dress to impress!! Do it for yourself, even if it's just a day with the kiddos at the pumpkin patch or a Bed Bath and Beyond/ Home Depot day with the hubby. The weather is a little chilly today, so throw on on those chunky knits you bought on sale for $25 at Target!! I know you've all been waiting, I know I have!! Your jeans or cargos, that long sleeved tissue tee, just in case it warms up, you'll have a comfy tee underneath. and some cute earrings with a little dangle to them. It may sound glam but it's actually trendy casual and you won't look over done. Stop caring about what everybody else is thinking about your attire for a Saturday! If they want to walk around in loungy sweats all day and look frumpy, let them! And don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with sweats, as long as it's a super cute matching suit with a great pair of tennis shoes. And your hair is combed..;-).
So don't make the weekend an excuse to not follow fashion, it doesn't take a lot to pull yourself together and look great!!

The way of the Belt?!

Belts are not just for the belt loops on your pants anymore!

You can jazz up any outfit with a belt! Super-skinny leather belts come in every color and some pretty cool patterns. A leopard print skinny belt would look great on any color cardigan. Belting a cardigan is super fab, it jazzes up the look a bit! Also, wrapping a skinny belt around a button-up shirt takes that plain shirt to a whole other level.

Wide belts come in so many different styles. The leather is the most popular and looks good around chunky sweaters and ruffled tops. But there are so many to choose from, you be the judge on what looks great with your outfit. This style of belt is perfect on long torsos and wider hips.

Belts are fun, buy them cheap so you can experiment and find what works best for you.

Finding your way in fashion!

Every trend out there is not for everyone! You have to find what works for you. It's ok to go into the stores and try on all of the new Fall trends, but when it's not for you, it's not for you!! I know some fashion magazines will tell you otherwise, but you have to listen to that little voice inside of you that is screaming, "Don't do it!!". Ask the nearest salesperson wherever you may be shopping, and if they blurt out the answer too quick, they are lying! If they look you up and down and then answer, you can pretty much trust their judgement. I know this because I was the one who looked you up and down..:).
Start small, everyone can wear tee with a cardigan, and they are very trendy. Your basic goto denim is a bootcut and try on a pair of those fashionable booties ( all 500 different styles) or a cute pair of embellished flats. Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize and you will be trendy whether you wanted too or not.

Have fun finding your way in fashion!

Here’s your chance Colorado!!

Here it is, your chance to try on some Fall fashion!!  It is cold outside today and I am actually excited about it!!   Get out those jeans or cords.  Throw on a long sleeve tee, crew or v-neck.  Add a cardigan, long or short.  Accessorize with a scarf, try that new animal print one that you’ve been staring at and wanting to wear for the past month!  Layer over with a great trench coat!  Target has one right now for $49.99 in 3 different colors.  Go with the khaki color if you want to get more wear out of it.  Get out those knee high socks in any of the fun patterns and put a great pair of boots or booties over them!!  And for me, this kind of cold means I get to put on one of my great Fall hats.  A super cute beret embellished with a flower or my all time favorites, a slouchy hat, that just shows enough of your bangs, if you have them to be sexy!!

So please everyone reading my blog, enjoy today with a little Fall fashion statement, I’ll be looking for you all with my camera handy to post on my page!!  Where are my Fall fashionistas??!!

Zoo attire!

What to wear to the zoo? Hmmm..that's not as complicated as you think..:). If your in the fall season, a cute sweat suit or jeans and a tee, with a cardigan layered over. Make sure you wear comfy shoes..if you have a pair of Reebok Ree-tones..wear them! You will be getting a great workout while you are enjoying the animals with your little ones. Or throw on a chic but comfortable pair of sandals or a pair of converse would spice up a great outfit.

Just make sure you are still keeping it fashionable while you are out having fun with the kiddos..it's real easy to do..:0)
